They told me I talked through the whole time and cracked jokes the whole way. I think it took them like 20 minutes. They said I was hysterical and I don't remember them even touching me. What ever drug they used, I'd like a three month supply of it.

But when you get home, get a nice couch or a bed handy and some kind of pain killer (take the pills about 30 minutes before you start to feel the pain and you'll be fine) that works good for you and have the salt water needle squeegy thingy handy and use it frequently and keep that hole clean until that hole seals back up and you'll have no problem.

That surgery is so easy when you let them knock you out, I almost wish I had more Wisdom teeth so I could do it again.
Glad to hear that, as I need some work done soon. You went to Dr. Arnold as well?

Other end of town--the Hill brothers- Dr. Jonathon and Dr. Doxiades Hill. Excellent in customer service/treatment. Located across the street from the Lowes off of Mesa Ridge Parkway.

I'm looking for some dental info as well. I've run into many dentists that only use the composite amalgam for filling cavities. Unfortunately, my insurance won't pay for these unless the filling is visible in front. Anyone know of any good dentists within reasonable distance of Falcon or the Academy/Fountain area that still fills with the silver filling?

Here's a vote for Dr. Clara Tao near Union and Briargate on the north end. She did my husband's filling with the silver stuff (and I paid extra for my daughter's filling with the white stuff). She's done all of our cleanings and fillings and has an excellent chair side manner.

Thanks. I'll see if she's covered by my insurance. I just called and cancelled my appointments with the dentist I recently visited. I told them that I didn't want to be forced to pay more for tooth-colored fillings when it really didn't matter since the fillings were all in the back. Hopefully (but doubtful), they'll put some thought into what I said.

Anyone who looks to this site, or any site on the internet except those endorsed by the Amerircan Dental Association, is taking some very serious risks. I could put my 2 cents worth as well with regards to the recommendations posted here...but if you're going to follow the advice here, then you get what you pay for.

Huh? Are you a paid political advertisement? It's suddenly evil to ask neighbors for advice?

I agree with you. It's not like we're asking if anyone knows some yahoo in a dirty garage with a good pair of pliers to pull teeth. Even some of the worst dentists are still endorsed by the ADA, so I'd personally rather talk to people that have been to them, rather than an association with whom they pay their annual dues.

Silliness.

If you want someone in the Falcon area, I've liked my care at Meridian Dental. Its new, but my dentist was fantastic.
