Dr. Donald Nelson in the US Bank building on Austin Bluffs (just west of Academy) is a great dentist. He cured me of my fear of dentists. He was recommended from the internet - oddly enough - and he did not disappoint.

If you have CareCredit, he does take that which is a great thing when you don't have other means to pay for your dental visits. But even if you don't have that, he's a good dentist, his assistant rocks and his receptionist rocks as well too.

I need to go myself and I think this is his number: 593-1116 - it looks right to me. But yeah, if you have dentist fears, let him know, he will be very cautious and very nice.

PS I don't know if he does extractions but I do know he can recommend someone decent. I had my wisdom teeth taken out here: http://www.amos-online.net/about.html Good group of docs...

Here's my surgeon: Leo L. Nassimbene, D.D.S. good man, BTW. He laughed with my dad after I came out of the IV meds as I am not one to deal well with that kind of thing. Gauze, IV meds and such make for a funny outcome.

About the Falcon Dental Clinic. Don't go there. I was told I neeed lots of Dental Work which I couldn't afford and didn't want. I got a second opinion and I didn't need any of the work the cute and charming Falcon dentist was insisting I get immediately. My teeth had been fine when I had my last cleaning/dental chck the 29th of Sept so I knew I was being conned. I just moved to CO Springs.
My mistake was going to Falcon because it was convenient

I would suggest Dr. Gerathy in Monument for general dentistry--especially if you're military, he accepts that insurance. Also, if you need an orthodontist, Dr. Timmins is excellent! He does all of the treatment himself instead of having his assistants do the work and just checking it. He did the braces on both of my girls and they are great! He also accepts the military insurance and pretty much everything else.
