GeorgiaAH2008 is on a distinguished road
Default Moving From Georgia, PLEASE help with advice :)

Hey guys! I am a recent graduate of The university of Georgia and have decided to go to grad school and pursue a masters degree out of state (to enjoy another part of the country for awhile After looking allover, I found UCCS was one of the few schools that was in a beautiful area AND offered my program, but Ive never been to COS and Im getting nervous if this is the right fit for me. From my research I can tell it is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and scenic, weather seems like a pleasent change from the sweaty south, and cost of living is quite good. My concerns are that Im in my early 20's and am wondering about the nightlife/bars (wich ive read mixed posts on, some good some say non-existent) shopping/retail, new development, etc?? Any suggestions for areas to look for housing that might suit me? UC boulder and Denver neither offer my program so UCCS is my only hope!! Im VERY far away and Ill be grateful for any advice i can get!! Thanks yall

Thank you for reading up on the threads before posting, we REALLY like that.

There is info in the threads on UCCS and rentals. Just use the advanced search with keywords UCCS and rent, select COLO SPGS forum as the search area, and you'll find several threads that hit on this topic. Ten seconds.

There is some nightlife, not much, Denver is the big dog for that. Shopping is good here, not as good as Denver, 60-90 minutes north.
