The Broadmoor area is home to a lot of "Old Money." Another neighborhood much like it is the Wood Avenue area near Colorado College.

Sockeye is right. I lived in Colorado Springs from '57 to '64. It was a great place to grow up as a kid. That part of the Springs (Uintah Ave. and Cascade Ave.), around that general area, some beautiful old homes there!

Love it! You can't get into Broadmoor area as far a purchase for under 400k, the views a Awesome and Schools are some of the best in the country just incase you wanted to know! I love living in Broadmoor and will never move.
