Default Young male new to the Sprgs and looking for a place to hang out

I'm new to the Springs, live on the east side near Falcon. I'm 26/male and am looking for cool places to hang out.

Kind of descriptive here but here it goes on.

Sports bars are okay, pretty much kind of tired of those, Really looking for a place to talk to people closer to my age. So, a more social bar that has a fair share of single of women close to my age would be a plus. And one that isn't overly priced.

Haven't tried anything out yet in the Sprgs. The bar in very small town I just moved in from basically consisted of males aged 35-50 and no women or men close to my age. Am I lookin forward to a change.

Any recomendations??? I've heard of the penny shots and someone said that was good but want to hear the thoughts on this subj.

There are some nice martini bars in downtown you might like, I am not sure of the names though.

Most everyone I know goes to Frankies. The clubbers hit downtown. I have heard others in thier 40s and wanting to live upscale hit Hatchcover AND the FINE ARTS CENTER???!!!! I don't get that one. I also know 30s hitting Oscars, South Side Johnnys. Otherwise, I hear of many who say they met so and so at Starbucks, Barnes/Borders, and Chipolte!!! LOL!!!!! Also, I hear of a lot of hook ups at public social gatherings like farmers markets, Old Colorado City events, marathons, etc. Whenever I see this question posted, this is what I think and always shyed away from answering because it is an unusual answer...but oh well.
