Children's Museum Revisited
Plans for a new 30,000 sq.ft. children's museum have residents raising money. The old children's museum closed in 2001, was located in Citadel Mall, and had older exhibits.
Do you think a new larger museum is worth pursuing?
Do you have any suggestions such as "should have rotating exhibits"?

That's good, lets hope they rebuild the downtown library as well, that is old and small.

I don't have children, but any new museum seems like a good thing if patrons can rasie money for it.

Good question. There are churches just about every two blocks, but no children's museum -- not that churches have anything to do with children's museum...

Churches could donate for a new children's museum!
Typically most science centers / children's museums involve a lot of local business and other organization contributions to get started.

How about trying to get a grant from the Buell foundation?
