On our way up to Boulder on Valentines Day and just caught the tail-end of a cold front;

Tailgated at 80 mph...

From one front into another;

Dog, good pix of the frozen fog the other day; unique stuff, nothing like it back east, though we did get frost on cars but that's it.

Frozen fog! That's what I was trying to say, I just didn't have to words for it at the time.

Thx for the other pics Joss and Pilot! That one looking at 25 northbound is awesome because I've driven it so many times and it's hard to really get that perspective.

The reason I took that picture was the runway in the foreground. You can't see it from the highway. I heard it was built for a planned resort that never quite got going. I also heard the present owner has an agreement with Douglas County to be able to use it a maximum of once a day.

I just love the landscape of the I-25 corridor from just south of Denver going down all the way to the New Mexico border... and beyond.

I love these little mesa/plateaus all over the place, studded with a few sparse pine trees. It really feels like the "upper southwest." To me that kind of stuff is just as beautiful as Pike's Peak-- but in a different way.
