One of the most overpriced gyms I have even joined. I would suggest going to the YMCA if you are looking for a good gym. Don't join if you are looking for a pool. With their long family swim hours that are almost all day on the weekends you can count on tons of kids screaming and running around. On top of that the lifeguards are VERY RUDE. They are not friendly and always have attitude with you. I never thought a gym that is this overpriced would hire people with so little interpersonal skills. Some of the cleaning people do not speak english and on one occasion a hispanic man who worked at Villa strolled into the women's locker room and the women had to physically escort him out! The man certainly still worked there when I left last month. Yeah, hopefully they build a YMCA in the Stetson Hills/Powers area soon.

I personally love Villa Sport and have never had any problems there. It is a family fitness center and there's something for everyone there. My girls love going and we all work out/swim together often. Not a better place in the Springs to work out and have fun while doing it.

Interesting. We have been at VillaSport since they opened, and we love it. I have never had any problems with their staff. I would recommend Villasport to anyone. The only possible drawback is the cost at $145/month for a family of 4.

Has anyone heard anything else about lifetime fitness? I belonged to that gym when I lived in another state and absolutely loved it. It seems like all construction has stopped. Also, does Villa sport have an "enrollment fee"?

Thanks

I think they've started back up on lifetime fitness. As for Villa Sport they do have an enrollment fee, but I know a couple of people who have recently joined that have had it waived (one was military, and another one was because of the company he works for.)

No kidding - buy P90X rather than pay that fee!
