Default neighborhoods & schools in Colorado Springs

My husband got a tentative job and it looks like we will be going down in a few weeks for a house hunting trip. Are there any neighborhoods we should avoid? How about good school districts? We have four children all ages 7 and under. Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Hey there-

I think it all depends on what you enjoy. There are some great districts. However, your price range will play a big role aswell. What size house you are look for. If you want land, etc. Give me some ideas and I will help you narrow it down. SHEP

We are looking for a safe, nice neighboorhood. We are hoping to find a 4-5 bedroom home preferably with a basement under 300k.

CSColorado is on a distinguished road
This looks like a popular place for kids. We have 5 kids ages 8 and under. What part of town is your husband's job? How long of a commute is acceptable? Are you wanting near anything else in particular?

Just moved here. We found a home in the north east side of town and it seems to be family oriented, so that is good. That way my kids can make friends outside of school
