Chinese Buffets ??
Wondering if anyone has a good tip on a GREAT Chinese Buffet in COS? We are coming out on Friday for a week of househunting and the kids love Chinese food. We are so very excited to be moving BACK to the COS area. It is a dream come true and we are so glad to rid ourselves of the Florida taxes and property insurance!
Mike from Back East - thanks for the tip on selling the furniture and buying furniture at that furniture store! Cheaper for us to leave the old furniture here and buy out there. Great advice!
Thank You!
Rick

Rick, thanks for the kind words. Just last week we bought a stone-top patio table for the deck, with rocking/swiveling chairs, the works. Nice set at a nice price. Should last forever. Very heavy table, won't blow away.
Chinese buffets haven't been mentioned much in here, but now we'll hear from folks. I know of one that always seems VERY busy, corner of Academy and Vickers. Smells good driving by the place when we leave Bally Fitness, but have never been in....the calorie hit is too severe for us....easily 1500-2500 for a major chinese buffet pig-out session, then I feel awful and guilty.

Asian Empire Buffet. We love it. There is a sushi bar, and a mogolian grill where you build your own, and a large buffet selection including desert and salad. I have to be careful about pigging out .

Chinese Buffet in COS
Empire Buffet on Academy and Vickers is excellent. I also just way on Yahoo where they list best places to eat that there's one off Powers and N. Carefree the name is Ultimate Buffet and they rated as one of the best in US.
I'm going to try it soon,

I have to second with Ultimate Buffet. It's really good (or at least it was back in December when I last ate there).

I, too, need to throw my support to Empire Asian Buffet at Academy and Vickers. Good food. Sushi. A Mongoliam Barbeque. Really good stuff.

Ultimate Buffet (UB) at the corner of Tutt and N. Carefree, just off Powers in a Target shopping center is pretty durn good. Been there several times and the food is pretty good, but it does get crowded.

Thanx, I've been hearing a lot about the UB, but never knew where it was.

Love that Chinese myself!
My wife and I have had the pleasure of eating at both establishments. Empire buffet and Ultimate buffet. My opinion is Empire buffet is the best. More selection, and fresher. Service is above board and while it is busy most of the time, you never feel crowded. They do serve "Oriental" food, not just Chinese, which gives you the option of taste testing other oriental cuisine.
We don't get to eat there as ofter as I wish we could, as Mike from back east explained....too many calories! But when your in the mood to just plain pig out, Empire buffet is my choice.
