You must not have been to far up North Academy to get a military vibe. That sucks you got stuck in the blizzard but this is the time of the year snow comes when ever it feels like it.

If you like gambling you could head up to Cripple Creek (there are buses if you don't want to drive: Colorado Casino Shuttles | Service to Cripple Creek, Colorado) If you Google it I'm sure you can find music or other events happening up there.

Colorado Springs Travel Information :: Experience Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak will have lots of info for you as well.

Do you like hot springs? It's a beautiful drive down to Buena Vista and Cottonwood Hot Springs ... that would be a nice way to spend a Sunday.

When will you be here ? there are quite a few vegan places and if you are downtown you can checkout poor richards bookstore It has a great vegan selection. As far as things to do ther e is quite a bit if you have time in between your business meetings . Mesage me and i will send you a link to a particular events page you might like.
