Company picnic suggestions (Colorado Springs: price, things to do, areas)

I'm looking for a location in Colorado Springs for a company picnic.

We would need to accomodate about 200 people; adults and children. I am familiar with Bear Creek Park, however would prefer a place that offered things to do that I (or my Rec Committee) would not have to be "in charge" of. I've checked out Flying W Ranch was not overly impressed but they do offer a staff to run things; it just looks a bit run down for the price.

Another thought I had was Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo. I'm haven't toured it yet; has anyone had an event there? I have also considered a Sky Sox game in the group areas but I don't know if they would have any Sunday games available at this time.

We had our family Holiday Party at It'z last year and it was a huge success but I would really need something outdoors for the picnic.

Any other suggestions? Any help would be appreciated!

I think the Zoo sounds like a good idea - they have outdoor picnic areas as well as a covered area if the weather goes bad. I was at a company picnic there years before, and there is plenty for kids to do.

The North Pole has tons to do. They do have group rates.

Sky Sox game would be my pick. They have the staff and special seating for a large group like that. I think everyone would have a great time!

This place looks perfect! We just had our Rec. Committee Meeting today and we were wishing for a place that "did everything" so the committee could actually have fun too!
