Relocating to colorado springs
Looking at relocating to Colorado Springs. Looking for input on a few things. Schools, preferably private christian but would consider public, elementary and high school. Son is very interested in the Airforce Academy. High school football programs, team record, coaching staff, number of players going on to play saturdays. Local economy, how is housing, construction etc... Would like to hear you're input or opinions, thanks.

As for high school football, who is the best just varies from year to year - no real strong legacy programs here that I can think of at the moment. Games aren't just on Saturdays, so not sure what you mean by that. Colorado and this part of the country in general is not quite the football town like you might find in, say, Texas.
As for the rest - I'd say what you would find here is about what you'd find in Anywhere, USA.

In my opinion the best school districts in Coloardo Springs are District 12 and 20, in that order. District 20 is huge, but if you live in the right area your son could go to school on the Air Force base, parts 80919 and 80920 I believe. You can look at their website to find out the bounderies www.asd20.org. You can check out housing prices by putting these zip codes in and doing a search at www.realtor.com. I can't give you any answers to the football questions. Hope this helps :-)
