I've lived in Northgate for 16 years and it's a beautiful neighborhood. Is there something specific you'd like to know? Are you considering relocating?

Just researching right now. I guess I want to know if there are lots of trees, families with children, good housing stock, pleasant ambience, that sort of thing. Thanks

Yes, to all of those. Among the things you listed, trees are probably the one item in shortest supply, since this is a low-rain area of about 13" of rain per year, and officially referred to as "Alpine Desert." But there are trees, just not in the abundance we had back east.

The neighborhoods just north of Old Northgate Road (off of Rollercoaster Road) are actually heavily wooded. The neighborhoods south of Old Northgate are not wooded - but have spectacular views of Pikes Peak.

There are lots of families with children, very good housing supply, great schools, fairly "upscale".

Thanks for the feedback
One more question--How do Gleneagle and Rockrimmon compare to Northgate?

Thanks again. I so appreciate it.

Gleneagle pretty much borders Northgate. They are very similar neighborhoods in terms of amenities, etc. Rockrimmon is on the west side of town. It's an older area - more built-up, more amenities like shops, gas stations, etc.
