Hi,

My husband and three young children would like to relocate to a town near Colorado Springs. We are relocating from a small town in Minnesota with population of 15,000. We would like to work in Colorado springs, and we are willing to drive 30-45 miles to work. Can anyone suggest a nice budget town with in 30-45 miles from Colorado Springs? We are looking to rent and want to be in Colorado by June-July. Please can anyone help

Default Towns around Colorado Springs

If you don't mind living in a small town, you could look at Calhan. That is out on the eastern plains and is about 30 minutes from Colorado Springs. But it is a small town.

You could also look at Fountain. Fountain is on the southern end of Colorado Springs. Home prices still tend to be less down there than in Colorado Springs.

Really, as I think about it, you could consider Pueblo. Pueblo is 30 minutes south of Colorado Springs. May be 45-50 minutes to get where you need to go start to finish, but the cost of living is less in Pueblo than it is in Colorado Springs.

Hey there! What kind of rent are you wanting to pay. That will help determine where you can live. Everbody's house budget is different. We would love to give you some ideas.
