Default Neighborhood...

How's the area on Cache le Poudre between Union & North Circle? I see one robbery on the police blotter (linked from gazette.com) currently. Is that unusual or the norm? I haven't live in the Springs for 10+yrs and don't remember that area well. Thanks.

It's really up and down. The area north of platte and the citadel is very spotty. Some areas are really quiet with good neighbors. Others are just really poor. I can vouch for west of Union for having good neighborhoods, though.

I would go to google maps and use their street view to check out the houses in the area.

That's the norm - it is your ordinary every day neighborhood.

I would tend to stay west of Union were I know the Cache la Poudre neighborhood is nice. Unfortunately, I haven't checked out the area east of Union and Cache.
