Default Can Anybody Tell Me About Pine Creek?

I will be relocating back to CO Springs soon and I am targeting the upper-middle class hoods strung along Powers/HWY 83 (Pine Creek, Wolf Ranch, Cordera, Cumbre Vista, and Flying Horse). Pine Creek has the bigger lots that I want and is more in my price range ($325k - $400k), but I am a little unclear on what constitutes "Pine Creek" and whether or not it has a community pool and a clubhouse like the other neighborhoods I mentioned.

Also, how do you guys view these neighborhoods? I want a family-friendly neighborhood near amenities. I'll probably be working out at Schreiver AFB (but maybe at Pete), so the Jackson Creek area of Monument and the nice parts of D-20 west of the interstate are probably out of the question (for my commute to Schreiver).

Pine Creek generally is bounded by Briargate Pkwy on the south, by Chapel Hills Dr on the west, by Old Ranch Road on the north and Union Blvd on the east. Anything in between is Pine Creek. A fairly large area with thousands of homes. Much of Pine Creek sits right on the PC golf course. Not sure about community pools, but the Briargate YMCA is right off Union Blvd and Family Place, near the new Memorial Hosp North / King Soopers (grocery). Many commute from here to Peterson AFB, etc.

Pine Creek doesn't have a community pool and clubhouse... They have a great community playground and splash park, though!

All neighborhoods you mentioned, with the exception of Flying Horse, is right along the "powers corridor" and is close to everything you need. Flying Horse is a little farther north (and at some point, Powers will extend north through Flying Horse though currently it stops at Highway 83). Flying Horse is still close to amenities; that part of town is pretty new so not *everything* is there yet, but it will be soon enough.
