There are already some groups you might want to join in with - for example, see meetup.com for Springs area singles groups, outdoor singles groups, etc., etc., etc.

i'm also planning a move to cs and a 40's single. i am excited about hiking and gorgeous scenery. i would love to find a group that hikes with dogs so my precious golden retriever can come too.
