Default Rock Bottom Brewery

Hi everyone, here to pick your brains again.

My Mom and I are planning on going to dinner on a Friday night in July at Rock Bottom Brewery. Is this a neighborhood that we can walk around in before and/or after? Retail-wise? I think I saw that they had a front patio is eat at also so I just figured....

thanks in advance-
Alicia

Is it a neighborhood you can walk around....you mean in terms is it a safe neighborhood? If that is the question, then the answer is yes. Retail-wise, there are a few stores right in the immediate vicinity of the Brewery...a Best Buy, Whole Foods are the ones that come to mind (there's a couple others, but I forget what they are). Across the street just south of the Rock Bottom area (S. Carefree) is a Pier 1, World Market, PetsMart, Lowes and a few others I can't remember. If you cross to the west side of Powers there is another shopping center with a Kohls, a shoe store and some others I can't remember. Just north of Rock Bottom is a stand alone JC Penney and some small stores.

Hope that helps.

One of the Springs' larger movie complexes sits right behind Rock Bottom. A lot of people walk between RB and the theater for a before or after-movie dinner or drink.

Ooh the theater is a great suggestion. We were just looking for something to do while we were in the area for the evening w/o having to go back to the hotel and watch tv.

Yeah there are a few stores to walk to, and as mentioned, the movie theater is nice. Rock Bottom has great ribs, BTW.

Yep, carrot cake there is awesome. There is all kinds of places to walk to next to Rock Bottom, pretty much the newest and nicest area in the Springs, IMO.

They're having an outdoor concert series on Fridays in July. I'd totally feel safe there!

If you are from Albuquerque, you will be shocked how safe you will feel here. You can walk all over the busy areas of downtown as well and will feel safe. Something I don't think you can do in Albuquerque. Yes, you will find lots to do around Rock Bottom Brewery area.
