Hey all,
I will be moving to Colorado Springs in May and am wondering how the network of bike trails are? I am hoping to commute on my bike and want some input from anybody who has done this or is currently bike commuting. I will be living at Cheyenne Creek apartments just west of Nevada and Cheyenne. My office is in downtown CS off of N. Wahsatch and Platte Ave.. Any suggestions on what would be a good and safe route to take?

Thanks

Try springsgov.com website and navigate to find bike trails. I looked at it and couldn't really tell you how to get back to it . The Sante Fe Trail is nice. You might be able to use it for the north-south part of your commute. The trails are great, but the roads are generally not bike friendly.

I would be careful where you bike, it is true that road bikers don't get alot of respect. However, you should be able to get there from the Santa Fe trail, like the other person suggested. I know it goes right pass downtown. bashep
