Is there anybody out there who has lived in/currently lives in Manitou Springs? How are the schools there? Availability of rentals? Are houses affordable (based on where we are now, I would define affordable as +/- 200K)? Thanks in advance!

Don't live there but you can find some older homes in that range. D12 is one of the top school districts - area just South of Manitou Springs. Havn't heard much about the actual Manitou district good or bad - I'm guessing that is is average for the area which would be good to very good compared to the US average.
