Any advice on the birth centers in Colorado Springs, Memorial VS Penrose St. Francis. I am looking at both the North Hospitals. I am looking to have a Vag Delivery if possible and more natural positions, like using birthing balls and squat bars. I have seen that Memorial Offers those. I am planning on using a Certified Nurse Midwife, and both offer those. I am seeing a CNM that delivers at St.Francis now, but I am not sure that this is the right option. Also, I have private insurance, so I have to pay for the maternity care and delivery myself. So, if anyone knows how the pricing compares to that would be helpful. Thanks All.

Hey Mirz. I delivered 3 at St. Francis and 1 at Memorial. I think there were pro's and con's to both. However, it was 7 years ago since my last delivery, so who knows what has happened in 7 years. I liked that I was able to deliver and stay in my same room at St. Francis and the room was big. However, Memorial was nice because they had the NICU there, my first born was transfered there from St. Francis cuz he needed extra help. I didn't like that he was in a completely different hospital than me at that point. I haven't been to either of the new hospitals though. I would encourage you to check out both before making that decision. SO hard to say...
