Default NE Colorado Springs Houses

Hello everyone, my family is relocating and so far this forum has really helped me narrow down what part of the city I want to live in, so thanks a lot! My question is that I am looking into renting a house that is in the development 'block' of Powers, Research, Austin Bluffs and Woodmen. Right now my family is in NY, so this means very little to me, so I was curious if anyone knows more about this area? I know that it's in District 20, but how is the neighborhood? Newer houses or older? Kept up well? Thanks for your time....

I lived off Woodmen and Rangewood which is a 'hood that borders the 'hood at Woodmen and Austin Bluffs. Great area. I lived there just shy of 11 years and miss it a lot.

Houses in that particular area are from the mid mid 1980 and up through the early 2000s, depending on the exact location. It's a quick drive to most anything you need and well kept, even in the little neighborhood I was in. We had cops to construction to retirees.

I lived in the Woodman/Lexington area. It was fine, close to work, nice views. Decent house @ $1000 month. Look for a south or west facing driveway!

I believe you are talking about Fairfax. It is a good development, lots of parks. It is close to stores, etc. You will like it!
