Yeah my wife told me that King Chef opened up a new location where Big City Burrito was.

Went to Flavors on Tejon this weekend. It was quite nice. I felt like I was in a cafe in a 'real' city!

No mimosas or bloody marys, tho.

We traditionally have gone for Greek (Jake & Tellys, Greek Grille, Greek Cafe) and just found a terrific Mom-and-Pop run/owned place called Heart of Jerusalem. We first tried their downtown location on Tejon. Amazing gyros, falafel, hummus. They just opened their 3rd location on the north end of town near Austin Bluffs & Barnes, in the little strip mall next to Skate City and Doherty HS. They have coupons on their website. I can't recommend this place enough - they must be doing well since they opened their 3rd location. (1st one was in Manitou Springs, 2nd one on Tejon in downtown). I like their gyros sandwiches better than Greek Grill because they are panini-grilled.

Also wanted to mention that there is a FIVE GUYS burger place on the north end where Buca di Beppo used to be. This would be near the Home Depot on N. Academy. Their fries are terrific - very very very good. Their burgers are ok - they are frequently mentioned as the In-N-Out of the east coast. They don't offer 1000 island dressing on their burgers so I can't really compare them to In-N-Out, but their burgers are very fresh tasting. Don't go here if you have peanut allergies....they have peanuts all over the place to snack on.

There's a new place in Palmer lake - Amuze bistro - with all of about 5 tables, if that. I heard it's good, but pricey... If anyone has dined there yet, please let us know...

Ai Sushi (on centennial) has teppan grills (the cook at your table thing), in addition to regular tables.

They fry their potatoes in Peanut Oil, so beware if you have peanut allergies.

Was just there for lunch, excellent burgers, toppings to order. Busy as all get out.

They started back in the DC area, I can remember going there at least 15 years ago when I worked for the Army in the Arlington / Falls Church area of DC metro area.
