Today's Indy paper describes two new places in the heart of downtown that I'm going to try ....

- Bingo Burger, exported from Pueblo, the burgers sound good, the roll in the lamb burger photo looks like they've put some thought into what they put their burgers on. Located at 132 N. Tejon, in the old Bruegger's Bagels shop, next to Starbucks, at the corner of Bijou and Tejon, opposite Acacia Park.

- Bella's Bakery and Bistro sounds like a good bet....at 3. E. Bijou in the old OPB&J location, a few steps east of Cascade.

Let us know if you try either of these, it may take me a few weeks to get down there....

I always use the tripadvisor when looking for a place to eat. I have had good luck with this.
It breaks them down by ratings and type of food you're looking for. Hope this helps

I love Bingo Burger in Pueblo. I hope to make it soon to the CoS location.

Spice Island Grill.. sure it's already been mentioned before, but I'm mentioning it again. Probably the thing I miss most about CoS. Thai Arham by the Target on Powers is pretty good, as well.
Crave Real Burger... IMO, not that great, but the vulgarity counts for a lot.

Made it to Bella's Bakery and Bistro today, downtown, on Bijou a few steps east of Cascade by the UPS Store, Taste of Jerusalem, etc.

Had her deli sandwich, was awesome good and huge, enough for two. She sliced the turkey fresh while I waited. There's a ton of cookies and pastries to be had, including cannoli, brownies, tarts, muffins, etc.

I hope some of you try it.

NOTE: She closes at 4PM

The wife and I tried Fiesta Jalisco the other day and were impressed. It wasn't sensational, but it was very good quality food. You could tell it was fresher better ingredients. Will definitely go back if we're in the area and hungry for Mexican.

A couple decent places I've been to recently are Lucha Cantina (kind of Tex Mex) downtown and Silver Pond (Chinese with great gluten-free and vegetarian menus) at Academy and Dublin.
