Default Courtyards At Quail Lake

I am pretty keen on purchasing a town house in this community, near Quail Lake park and the World Arena. Any thoughts on this area, or the community itself?

Quail Lake is a pretty nice area, I once had an apartment there. I don't think those town homes are right on the lake, though. You will have a fair number of military living right in that area due to proximity to Fort Carson. Some of those town homes, if I'm thinking of the right ones, are right next to Venetucci Blvd by the World Arena and that is a pretty high traffic area, so I'd prefer one a little off the main street if possible. I thought they were a little overpriced when new, also, but I never looked inside one of them.

I am military, so the proximity to Fort Carson combined with what seems like a nicer area are the main selling points. You are right about the location, these are not on the lake but back up against the open space between Venetucci and Quail Lake.

Are there any areas close to Fort Carson, on the west side of the city similar to this area in terms of location, price and safety?

How does the area around Gilpin Dr in the 80910 zip code area measure up to the rest of the city? I have read a few not so great things about the 80910 zip code...
