Default Designer / Paint Specialist

Hello,

Just moved into the area and bought a new home. The entire home is painted one color - ceiling and walls - EVERYTHING! In my last new home (another state) I hired a very savvy gal who had an interior design business - but mostly a great eye for paint colors and how to paint in such a way that it really enhanced the look and feel of the room. Does anyone know of such a person here? I don't want to look through the yellow pages and pick a design studio, etc. I would like a personal recommendation. Thanks for your help,

Try using warm colors for walls, cooler ones for ceilings. And pick colors that accent your furnishings and/or views. If you want any faux finishes, there are many good books on the subject.

Someday I plan to go into that business as I think there is a good need, and it would have low overhead, but that is likely ten or more years ways from now, since I am already locked into a full time career.
