My wife was googling Crystal Park (from Latvia) and found this forum. the picture used to illustrate Colorado Springs was taken from Pavilion Rock in Crystal Park, with a wonderful view of Garden of the Gods. That's our house in the lower left hand corner. If the photographer had lowered his lens a bit, the trout lake below our site would have been included, along with the 100-year-old club house. We love it here.

I would like as much bias information on Crystal Park gated subdivision as possible. I am in love with a
house up there. O heck, any information would be appreciated. I did read the HOA regulations and news letters, but thought someone up there would know something they don't. Thanks, CB

Are you trying to give burglars an illustrated guide on how to break into your place? Or just bragging?

Looks like you have good defensible space around the house if there were a fire...that is smart, especially on a steep hill like that.

Plus, the drugged-out zombies will have a harder time approaching when they come looking for food and money...you've got excellent shooting positions from the house.

is that a PV roof or just a standard metal roof or shingles? If I had a place like that I'd be looking into solar & wind power, assuming covenants don't get in the way.

Ah, someone who can talk to me on the mountian. I was wondering if you
or your wife know of any reason not to buy in Crystal Park. I am a senior,
single and can handle it. Thanks, CB
