We are interested in moving to Louisville. We are married, 43 & 52. We have a 5 1/2 year old girl and possibly another child planned. We are both self employed. An Animal Behaviorist and a Hair stylist.

We would like to rent a home. 2 -3 bedroom and schools are important. Preferably a Christian School K-12. We are community minded and church going and also enjoy live music, movies and dining out as well as family activities.

Any information would be helpful and appreciated!

We just bought a house in Coal Creek and find it is a beautiful golf course community. Louisville is not that big and any area is great, if you want to know specifics just ask. We love it!

Thank you Micktooth.
Is Coal Creek great for kids?
Are the houses expensive?
Right now,we are living in Austin in a big community and there are a lot of activities planned for the kids and adults too, there is a big feeling of community with regulations for everything, is Coal Creek the same?
Thanks for your very helpful tip.

A recent national book reported Louisville as the #1 place in the entire country to raise a family. There are all kinds of things for families to do. My wife and I feel like we are living in a Norman Rockwell setting. We have lived in Dallas and New Orleans and Louisville is by far and away the best place we have ever lived. If you like you can email me privately for specifics. I have a lot of bookmarks that we used before we made the move. We moved from New Orleans in June. Houses can range from the 300s-900s it depends on what you want. Email me if you like and I'll try to help you. I'm not a realtor, I'm a dentist, so I like to consider myself unbiased. micktooth@comcast.net

Louisville is between Boulder and Broomfield, just north of the Northwest Parkway.

Louisville is about 20 miles NW of Denver on Hwy 36 and about 10 miles SE of Boulder. Louisville is on the North side of the highway and Superior is on the south side.
