Greeley is a nice area and has a lot to offer. I grew up there, and have watched it grow considerably although I don't live in Colorado anymore. There are quite a few churches there to accomodate your beliefs. There is lots to do with the family like a big recreation center, a big mall, movie theaters, and plus, there is also the church youth groups, etc. During the last part of June thru the 4th of July is the Greeley Stampede which is a big carnival, music concerts in the park with local performers, and concerts in the arena with the famous stars-mostly country performers. Also there is rodeos, monster trucks, and some other things. Greeley also has quite a few parks. The city is reasonable driving time to the mountains whether it be Estes Park or the Poudre Canyon. Surrounding Greeley are a few small communities such as Johnstown, Milliken, Evans, Gilcrest, Platteville, Loveland, Windsor. I lived in Sterling when I went to college and I enjoyed that community as well. Good luck on your hunt and GOD speed!

I grew up in Boulder and moved to California after I graduated from college. I recentley moved back to Broomfield with my family. I am amazed at how family friendly it is. Parks every where, many activities for kids. It's a great town! It has a small town feel but only 20 minutes from the Denver Zoo, Children's musuem etc... I would highly recommend Broomfield!

Hi Nadine, and thanks for your reply. As to your question about where we worship, we attend Calvary Chapel. They are everywhere, I think I saw one in Canon City, but not sure. I asked someone about Canon and they said it was probably too small for our liking. We just visited Boise, I just loved it, my husband just seems unsure to move anywhere. He says he wants to leave Farmington, but then he just can't find the perfect place. I personally feel he will never leave this town because his mother is here, and he still has apron strings, which, between you and me, (and everyone else reading this thread) is alot of the reason that I want to leave this town. He just keeps saying it's scary, and I agree, but we need to be happy, and neither of us is happy here. Someone also mentioned Twin Falls, Idaho. We were so close, but didn't stop, I wish now that we would have. Anyway, let me know what you think. Thanks

Louisville is a great place to raise a family if you have to live in the metro area. Small town feel with some big town amenities such as a wonderful library, and a full service rec center.

We are independent voters and not Christians. We don't belong to any organized religion. We don't care nor discuss religion or politics with our friends who range from atheists, Jews, Buddhists to fundamentalist Christians. We take people as they come. We don't have children by choice, and it works for us. We've found if you treat people the way you'd like to be treated it all works out.

When we decide which town to move to I'm sure we'll meet other animal lovers and maybe even a motorcycle enthusiast. We don't care at all about an image or wearing the right brand of clothes, love garage/estate sales (I am writing a book about it.....just got started).

We will be about a year getting there, but can't wait for the adventure to begin. We, and in particular I have lived in 13 states and 3 countries. Love to meet new people of any type or origin or religion or philosophy. and especially love to meet other animal lovers. Also would love to just drive over to New Mexico after we get settled in Colorado just for a visit.

Hoping to meet some of you along the way.

SugarLady
