I have driven through GJ a number of times and its in a beautiful area. I have seen a few posts on GJ but not much substance. I have visited the GJ websites but I would like more detailed info - not marketing material. Any locals or others have anything to share?

What is the general feel of the town? Is it optimistic? Are the people educated, active, friendly and outgoing or is it more white trash gun loving freaks? We have two kids who will be starting school soon what are the schools like?
