I have been using Qwest for the past year and have had excellent service with them.

Yeah, I was with Qwest years back and vowed never to do business with them again. However, having worked with Comcast for the past 3-4 years, I'm considering going back because I'm tired of the yo-yo rates with Comcast. They'll start you out at about $30-40 for internet, then 6 months later jack it up to $60, hoping you won't notice or call them.... it's a royal pain.

Does anyone know if Qwest likes to play this game too? I don't want to go through the trouble of switching to end up with the same garbage.

Qwest doesn't do that. I've been using them for the past three years. Their bills are always consistent. I've been paying exactly $45/month for 8mb internet and I've only ever called them twice to fix my connection and their customer service was very cooperative and fast in getting it done.

Default Hello

Yeah, we hate Comast too!!! We actually just switched to Verizon FiOS at the end of last week and I LOVE it!!!

We are trying to research several things in the Pueblo area as we are looking to move out there within the next year.

Is there any chance that Verizon will be coming out in the next year?

This.

I'm dumping Comcast too. The service is good, but it's expensive and they have some very questionable business practices.

So now the question: Go back to Qwest despite my vow to never go back to Qwest? Or is there another option?
