Is real estate more affordable in Pueblo? (than C. Springs or Denver?)

Is Pueblo family friendly?

Yes, housing is much lower cost in Pueblo than in the Springs or Denver.

There are several good threads discussing Pueblo on this Forum -- just do a search on "Pueblo" and you'll learn a lot about the area.

The median home price in Pueblo is around 100k. In Colorado Springs it's around 220k. Check out the real estate prices. I've seen homes listed in the low 30's. Not real nice ones, but a piece of dirt and a structure for less than a loaded Toyota Camry.
I don't like Pueblo very much, though the winters are much milder than COS. Kinda run down and depressed. But I've met a lot of Puebloians(is this a word?) and like anywhere, some love it, some hate it, and some tolerate it. I guess a lot would depend on your employment situation.
