Bennetts BBQ GONE!!! Tasted like old meat anyway.

We are already a suburb of The Denver area, especially in the North part of the county, just a 20 min. jaunt up to E470 and Smokey Hill Rd in Aurora.

I am planning to move to Elizabeth this summer and want the rural peace and quiet and cleaner air. I will not have to commute for job but only for errands and social and church. Am I naive for expecting a place that close to Denver to be clean air? I was there for a week last summer and it seemed like what I am looking for. I live rurally now but with no decent shopping any closer than 2 hrs. I like that I would be approx. an hour to ColSprgs and about the same to Denver if I needed to go there. I'd like feedback from people who live there or grew up there and would like to make some contacts for questions. Thanks.
