Hair Services at Ski Resorts? (Aspen, Vail: hair salon, home, to live)

I am looking to relocate to Colorado within a years time and I am a Hair Stylist. What I was wondering was.....if I could possibly get a job as a Hair Stylist at a ski resort.

- Do alot of ski resort's offer those type of services?
- What Do I do in the off season (are the spa services still offered in the summer?)
-Is it even possible for a hair stylist to afford to live near one of the resorts?

ALSO - I am planning a visit out to Colorado.......October 14-23

- Any particular places that I should visit???????
- Good hwy's/towns????

I would think Aspen or Vail would be a place where people would pay more for hair services. There is a very off season after winter and prior to sping summer called Mud season and most of the ski towns are empty until summer. I would visit steamboat springs,vail,summit county,aspen just to name a few

Also Beaver Creek, 10 miles west of Vail.

up here in summit county, home to copper ski area, breckenridge, keystone they always need stylists, if not at individual salons then, great clips etc!

Yes. They may have shorter hours, but they're open.
