There are many cities and towns in CO, but which is your favorite? Please add any insight on why you picked which city or town. I will list many cities, but i cannot list them all to pick from. Take in to account, food, scenic beauty, terrain, etc. Whatever you want to use, but please explain your choice. Thank you!

I voted for Ridgway, but was thinking of Ouray. Also, where was Crested Butte? I have yet to check out Steamboat,

I voted for Crested Butte, but I could have just as easily casted my vote for Ouray or Paonia if they were listed as options. My top three in no particular order are Ouray, Cretsed Butte, and Paonia.

Ouray: The Weisbaden Vapor Cave, camping at the Ampitheatre campground, abundant waterfalls, lots of good hiking trails nearby, knock-your-socks-off scenery.

Crested Butte: Absolutely stunning location, the town itself if a great place for taking walks, decent restaurants, some of the best hiking on the planet, the abundance and variety of wildflowers.

Paonia-Hotchkiss-Crawford: Scenery wise, this area is the best scenery in the whole state IMO. It's not the in-you-face, awe inspiring scenery like Ouray has or Crested Butte has, but there's a subtle, mellow beauty to this whole area, that touches my heart like no other place does. On my first visit there 4 summers ago, from one of the wineries located on a bench above the town of Paonia, looking across the valley at the west Elk mountains...I was completely blown away with the utter beauty of what I was seeing.

I voted for Fort Collins because given all the factors of a city, it has everything I look for. Great access to the outdoors, great weather, beautiful, lively downtown, excellent restaurants and the university.

However, it terms of towns I love to visit (and would possibly live if the opportunity presents itself), I would pick Salida, Durango and Ouray. The scenery in those towns always blows my mind.

Don't knock Greeley! LOL I actually like Greeley. yes, on the ride in it smells like cow crap, but it has character too of some sort. Also, the Mexican Food in Greeley is way underrated when people think of the good places in Denver, Pueblo, etc.

I actually like Greeley too. I had heard so many negative things, but then had to go to one of the Weld County municipal buildings to give a presentation. I don't know if I would want to live there, but Greeley itself turned out to be so much better than what I had expected.

I chose Durango in the poll, but admittedly, I haven't been to some of the other towns on the list. I'm sure living there would get old after awhile, but I'd still love to have the opportunity to give it a try sometime.

Haven't seen nearly enough of CO yet, but we really loved CO Springs and Manitou Springs. Gorgeous places. Gorgeous state really.

Voted for Pueblo. It may be economically down and have more problems, but it has plenty of character. Also, I love the CO desert lands. GJ was a close second.
