Are you in the right area to turn that 10 acres into some kind of an orchard?....Or maybe a vineyard, LOL - probably to cold for that....if there's water issues, maybe a cactus farm (LOL), less work for you with something like that....

I wouldn't mind the Ridgway City Manager job since she gets almost a six figure income for a town of 800...

Beautiful sunny day today, went to the courthouse to get the address changed on my car tags, everyone was very nice and friendly, then the mandatory visit to Delta Hardware, took my big sister to lunch at RJ's in Cedaredge, worked on the garden, but I know better than to plant anything (freeze warning again tonight). Had the top down in the Mustang all day, and stayed outside. When Delta gets all their planters planted, I'll take tons of photos.

Went to Ridgway today for the Balloons and Varooms Festival, not many people there, it was nice to see my friends again. The hot air balloon launch was 6am I didn't want to go that early.

Is Ridgway circling the drain as a place?

HIGH wind today, cool and storms coming. I heard it's snowing in Ridgway. The Gunnison River is up and really flowing well. There's river watches on for flooding due to the heavy snowpack this year.

Farmer Jim - have you gotten your garden planted? Crazy weather here also this year - I'd like to send some of our rain your way. Are you missing Ridgway? (Almost added an e - ridgeway - but I knew Jazz would get me)

Not yet, going to wait another week. A bit of a cold front the next few days and nights will be in the 30's. Yes I do miss Ridgway, just doubt I'll miss it much next winter though.

Took my big sister and my nephew and his wife visiting from Ohio to Ridgway and Ouray today. Bright sunshine, about 50 and a nice breeze. No crowds at all in Ouray. My nephew and his wife started getting dizzy and short of breath walking around Ouray. It was great! I wanted to take them on Red Mountain but at the Ouray lookout pulloff they got scared so I turned around. They did all the tourist shopping stuff, we stopped at Panny's in Ridgway for ice cream on the way back. A nice day.
