Maybe I'm dumb but I can't find anything in the forums about the best part of Colorado; the mountains. If it exists please advise me how to get there.

There isn't one. Perhaps they should make one?

Uhhhh, might want to look a little harder... that's what this main "Colorado" forum is for. Unless if it's a thread specifically about Denver/metro, Boulder, Fort Collins, or Colorado Springs, which goes in those city-subforums, it belongs in the main Colorado forum. Just looking at the front page of the forum on the active threads right now, I see threads about Durango, Grand Junction, Leadville, Summit County, Telluride, Ridgway.

There are hundreds of threads in here about towns in the central mountains, and/or the various sports that people enjoy in those mountains.

One single thread on "the mountains" won't fly here, there are way too many specific towns, areas, regions and other issues. We try to keep threads as specific as possible to make the knowledge easier to find. Our search tools are rather powerful; once anyone spends ten minutes using them they should be able to zero in on specific data in a matter of moments.

Major metro areas along the Front Range with a lot of threads get their own forums, everything else is in the main COLO Forum, as per the site owners guidelines and practices.

Where are the mountains? The countryside is mostly dirt, sage brush, mesas, and red rock canyons in these parts.....with the Colorado River running thru it. Could of sworn that I saw Brad Pitt fishing the other day.
