Westminster or CS? I'd agree that that's kind of an odd comparison. But they are both places to live, so they have that in common (Duh!)
I lived in Westminster near Sundstrand for quite a while. I could walk a few blocks over to Federal, hop on the RTD and be in the South Classrooms of the Auraria Campus in 30 minutes flat. The area was pretty nice back in the early to mid 90's but IMO, it's gone down. It is near the Boulder Turnpike, Commerce City, the north end of town which gives you easier access to rest of the Front Range (Longmont, Brighton, Loveland, Ft Collins, Greeley, etc.), and it's near Arvada.
If you don't need to commute to work, that's great. If I was young and could live anywhere in Colorado and wanted to give myself the best opportunity to advance in a technical career, I'd probably consider Broomfield or somewhere along that Interlocken corridor. Man, that place has blown up in the last 5 years!
This is kind of fun; you can hop on over to Boulder and watch people NOT-smoke, whilst they suck in that highly poluted air!

I was out there on Wednesday and I remember why I love Pueblo so much... breathable air and drinkable water.
