Ok everyone I'm looking into the possiblity of moving to Boulder within the next few months for a job. I'm wondering what are some nice apartments in the area that range between the 600 to 875 range 1 or 2 bedroom. I'm moving from VA so will be quite a change and would like to be in an active area of town. Thanks for any assitance

Jason

Anything in the $600 range is probably going to be very small. Do you want any amenities like a pool or fitness centre? Close to downtown or on a busline? Pets allowed? Quite a few places in Boulder will also cater to students - is that going to be an issue?

Check out some of the usual renting sites like allapartments.com where they have some good listings, or forrent.com. Craigslist might have something too but bear in mind the further out of town the cheaper and bigger the apartments may be.

'Tis true, many of Boulder's apts cater to students; the closer to campus, the more student oriented they will be. In addition to what chilaili suggested, you could try the Daily Camera classifieds. Daily Camera.com : Boulder, Colorado, News, Business, Homes, Jobs, Cars & Information. There are a number of complexes in Gunbarrel, northeast of the city, which should have fewer students. To all you students out there, I have nothing against you. In fact, my own daughter will be living in a student apt in the fall. It's just that it's a different ambience.
