Thanks for this information it was very helpful! As noted in above messages I like the east coast and Colorado- Wife is the opposite she loves Colorado and Florida as a vacation spot, but hates the Traffic and people( NOT ALL) in the Nova area- Virginia beach seems to have both the ocean for me and the mountains to the west for her, with a decent economy and things to do for our small family.

open to either location, both very nice for different things! We are leaning towards Highlands Ranch, for there seems to be more variety of activities for all things considered.

Nursing jobs in Colorado are competitive. It depends on your wife's recent experience, etc, what she will be able to land. Colorado Springs has a couple of big hospitals, Memorial and Penrose. Highlands Ranch does not have a hospital. The only thing I could find on a google search is an Urgent Care center.

Douglas County, Colorado | Living | Health Care and Services (http://www.douglas.co.us/living/Health_Care_and_Services.html - broken link)

Please note, not all these hospitals are in Douglas County, but all are in the southern Denver metro area.
