I've noticed that Commerce City has quite affordable housing. But, the homes look "cookie cutter" and packed in on small lots.
What's the general sentiment for this area? It looks to be near the airport and not in a great location over the flight paths. It also looks to be industrial in nature and near industrial waste/land fill? I am taking a stab here that pollution is higher in this part of the city? |

Probably not only air polution but crime polution too. This is not the cleanest/friendliest city you could pick for sure!!!! Houses are cheap because most are very run down. I went on a ride a long with their local police department. It was a really fun night with lots of action, but that is not really good news for you. I knew someone that lived just north of the city along Hwy 85 in a nice neighborhood out there between Commerce City and Brighton. You might want to look there.

I've heard good things about the "Reunion" subdivision in northeastern Commerce City. It is sometimes thought of as a more-affordable Stapleton, minus the central location, of course.
