Looking for rental anywhere outside Aspen
I'm helping out my friends Nicole and Kevin (hence my name) they're two of the nicest people that are in need of rental. Both are mid 20's. One bedroom or studio would be perfect. Nicole has accepted a position at a law firm in Aspen and will be leaving me (New Jersey) shortly. I'm not familiar with that area and I hear Aspen is expensive, so a radius of about 1 hour commute is where she is hoping for. If anyone has any leads on a place for $1200 or less please post or pm me.
I hate to see her leave here but I hate seeing her stress and cry over no where to live when she gets there even more.

Have you looked at Craigslist.com? There are quite a few listings for Aspen and surrounding towns there and in her price range. Or rentnet.com?

in nearby Avon Colorado they have studios starting at 700 a month, but thats ridiculous 700 bucks for a studio! but if they can afford the area maybe its worth lookin at Avon, Colorado Apartment Rentals and Classifieds. Avon, Colorado Rental Guide to Apartments, Townhouses, Houses and Duplexes for rent avon is about 10 miles from aspen i think, good luck!!!!!

FYI, Avon is about 100 miles from Aspen, not 10. Cheaper (relatively!) places around the Roaring Fork Valley would be Carbondale, Basalt, Glenwood Springs.

Avon is too far to commute to Aspen. It's almost a two hour drive.
Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Basalt, El Jebel, New Castle, maybe Silt...all within a decent distance of Aspen.
As for the OP, you'd probably be best to check out Glenwood Springs Post Independent - Frontpage for rentals and also to look on Yellow Pages and Online Phone Book : DexKnows.com for property management companies.
