Not Evergreen of course, but not that far away.

14k feet and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

These post should be banned---they are responsible for attracting thousands of people to this state. Do not believe these gorgeous pictures, they are doctored and Evergreen is a dump.

Those were elk. If you want to get close to them visit the town of Estes near Estes Park. They are like pets there, but do not try to pet them they are wild animals.

The Elk are afraid of people but they know whose bigger so they aren't in any hurry to run/walk away. Like everything else, they have acclimated to living in places with lots of humans but are still wild animals. During the rut, when the bulls start to bugle, stay away. They can get very agressive.

And please, do not feed them or any wild animal for that matter. All you are doing is putting the animal in danger.

Default Request to use photo for book

HA,

I'm writing a book on the attachment therapy industry in Evergreen, and I would like your permission to use the photo of the lake/downtown/Mt. Evans for the book. Can you e-mail me at rstryker@mills.edu so that I might discuss this request further?

Thanks,
Rachael
