I'll drink to that.

I enjoy Breckenridge and TommyKnocker as well. Nothing like hiking a 14er and then stopping in Idaho Springs for an Imperial Nut Brown Ale or snowboarding Breck and then heading over for an Avalanche.

Living in Colorado for four years actually forced me to become a homebrewer when I came back to NYC. At the time (2001), the craft beer movement had not gotten here yet and good beer was very hard to find. Colorado ruined me!

TommyKnocker perplexes me. Most any beer (well those that are already good to begin with) is significantly better on tap than bottled, but the difference is rarely dramatic. Tommyknocker on tap is some of my favorite - particularly their Butthead Bock, but their bottled beer is completely undrinkable to me. I'm not sure why the big difference with them.

I'm longing for a Sawtooth Ale from Lefthand Brewery.
Based on your post, I drank my first bottle of Sawtooh Ale last nite. I enjoyed it. Thanks for the tip.
