I was hoping to get info on the Boulder and Fort Collins areas. My husband and I are thinking of moving out west from New York for a better quality of life. We currently live 25 mins outside of NYC in an affluent suburb with a very good pubic school system. We have 2 girls - one entering 6th and the other entering 9th. Our top priority is a good public school system. We enjoy good restaurants, ethnic food, cultural events, the outdoors (we are all avid skiers), theater, etc...We do not have to worry about commuting as my husband has his own business and works from home. What schools districts should we consider? How far is the nearest major ski area?? Any skiing close enough for a day trip? Are there other areas we should consider?? Any info you can pass along would be greatly appreciated.
