I am trying to figure out costs for moving to Denver and I think my best option may be to rent for a year before I buy so I have a better idea where I want to be. Because my younger daughter is in Kindergarden, I really need to be in the same elementary school district as my sister's children (Pulton school, in Aurora).

I cannot find any way to search rental listings and find out the school district. The website for Cherry Creek schools does have an address locator, but it does not seem to work since each address I put in comes up not in the district (even when I know it is somewhere in the district). If anyone has information on how I can find this, please help!!

Most rental websites are light on the school information.

For sale properties have the correct school information 99% of the time. Some vacant for sale properties might be able to lease.

Maybe you can call the school and ask them what their boundaries are? Highlight that area on a map and plot the location on your map.

Most landlords and property managers know the schools - email them.

Good ideas, I'm trying all of it!

There is a site I love that allows you to search by city, zip, school name, subdivision, etc. Send me a private message if you would like the info.
