The thing is rather I want a blizzard now or heat this summer it wont matter as the weather will do what its going to do anyway. When they do occur I just enjoy them and that is why I post about them in the weather thread.

Weather like that is typical for Tucson in the summer (usually more like 105-107, but 110 is not too unusual) and at times it won't even cool down to the 80s at night. It's the lack of night cooling that is the hardest part for me, the heat is relentless. You can't open the windows at night, the AC is always running (even at 3am) and if you are REALLY luck you will get some wind with it! Then, thanks to the "dry" heat is feels like God's hairdryer is turned on high and pointed at you.

In Pueblo I never turn off my central air in the summer either, it just cycles on and off. I don't want constant heat above 110 and lows in the 80's but it would be fun to see it once here in Pueblo. Just like I don't want constant snow and cold in the winter but a few heavy snow storms are fun. BTW I hear Tucson had snow must have been pretty.....

We had a dusting at best. I work near the airport so I experience the "official" weather a lot and it's true, the airport weather has nothing to do with the majority of the city.
At the airport we had a couple of minutes of sleet followed by snow. It was over in 5 minutes, but at my oldest daughter's school they had enough snow to cover the grass - it's amazing what a difference 600' of elevation can make.
The last big snow we had (that I can recall AND find pictures of) was 5 years ago; it is quite pretty and even more fleeting that snow along the front-range.
