Fortunately (I think) this storm has gone around us. The forecast called for a rain/snow mix in the valley, didn't happen though, at least not in the Grand Junction area.

Talking Snow in Pueblo

The snow has started in Pueblo. So far the ground is warm so the streets are wet but I anticipate as the snow continues and the temperatures fall it will turn to black ice making rush house a mess.

My first video came out good. I did not plan the song but it really fit so I had to continue taping till the song was over. If it continues to snow I will have a second video of I-25 during rush hour. BTW for anyone interested I am NOT holding the I phone but its on my dash board.

Here is the video:

I hope you guys like the intro and close!

Man, watching traffic on wet streets--how fascinating. Maybe somebody should post a video of paint peeling--it would be about as interesting.

Apparently you watched it so it must have been somewhat interesting to you.

That being said I would like for snow packed roads but this is Pueblo and since we are in the banana belt combined with the urban heat island effect that is a rare occurrence here. I am keeping my fingers crossed the snow keeps up and the temperatures drop enough so tonight is one of those rare nights Pueblo has snow packed roads............

Wink Weather news ... any time

Nice graphics, almost like watching the local news. Apparently the music via radio, as bonus of wiper blade swooshes extra.

As mentioned, it would all seem a little more like a white Christmas, and match the soundtrack, if enough snow on the ground.

Thanks! Yes you are correct. When Pueblo gets a "major" storm I am actually thinking of how I can do a video like I am a reporter in downtown reporting on the storm. Usually I am alone but I think if I do it right it will be fun to produce and fun to watch.

Agreed but unfortunately Pueblo does not get that much snow. As of now its almost 4 and the roads are dry and we have off and on snow.

We received 13" of beautiful, light, fluffy snow. Today is a perfect bluebird day. An inversion puts us 15 degrees warmer than Denver and 12 degrees warmer than Boulder. YIPPEE!

The forecast is for snow on Saturday. Right now there is no watch or warning for Pueblo but we could get a few inches of snow. This is when we could get the big storm. As usual I will keep my fingers crossed and post a snow video when the snow starts!

This is from the NWS in Pueblo:

Pueblo Colorado

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of snow. Increasing clouds, with a low around 21. North northwest wind between 5 and 15 mph.

Saturday: Snow likely and areas of blowing snow. Cloudy, with a high near 27. Blustery, with a north northeast wind between 10 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
