I recently purchased 5.3 acres in Fort Garland, Co. I am looking for a used mobile or manufactured home to put there temporarily. I am currently in Iraq. I would appreciate any help in locating one. I would also like the name of a local paper.

Thanks in advance,
Bill

Hey Bill-

The local Newspaper is the www.gazette.com, you can also go to http://cosprings.craigslist.org and http://www.thenickel.com/adsearch.asp (broken link). These are all good places to search for that stuff. Also, you can go to www.dexonline.com to get the local mobile home sales offices. By the way, thank you for protecting our freedom!! Shep

well, we'll be neighbors, i also own one of those plots. Up higher though, it's just for a cabin. Where will you work?

God Bless you folks who are serving, God help us when no one will serve. You are appreciated and your lives are precious to us, not the lives of those who would harm you no matter what the media says.

Hey Robivi3,

I have 3 years left in the Marine Corps. I will probably work at the Home Depot or for myself. I am bringing a back hoe. I am thinking about buying a bobcat and a well drilling rig. Have you installed a well or a septic system? I am looking for a contractor to get a quote and Im also trying to get the county engineers number. Nice to meet you.

Bill

Howdy, sorry for the delay. We have not installed a septic system yet. Drilling I am told runs about 20 bucks per foot.

Here is some costilla info.

removed, they seem to be pretty good people. i know a little of their history. they are not scheisters. They live in the area and do tours for prespective buyers and such. Very open, and they actually tend to discourage you from buying so you don't think that you are buying in downtown aspen for 500- 1300.00 an acre.
